School Basics Prt 5: Plaid and Stars Freebie

I once had someone tell me how much they loved my plaids... now I make them all the time because that compliment had made me feel sooo good ;-) And since I went to Catholic school, I needed to make a plaid for this kit. It's a simple on and then I made it diagonal, lol. I added the stripe papers that I used to make the plaids as well. Then this cute star charm, which I did in every color, not just the yellow.

School Basics Part 4: Small Dots and Funky Frames

This paper is dotted with the same colors I used in the School Basics Kit palette, but the dots are smaller then the ones I use for yesterday's kit. The same texturing was applied and the paper is so touchable looking. The funky frames are great for recess and fun activity pictures and are done in all 8 colors as well. I hope you are liking how this mega kit is turning out ;)

School Basics Kit Part 2 - More Stripe Paper!

Don't ask me why I am so into different stripes, but I am so that is what you all are getting. This one has a twist, however, the digital paper looks like it has been folded and unfolded. With all eight colors of paper I have added 8 eyelets. Enjoy!

School Basics Kit - Part 1

I like making a kit that goes on and on and on... forever! This is going to be one of those kits. I took a color chart from Crayola and I'm doing the 8 basic colors in the crayon pack. Well kinda... but I really like them and they are now my swatch for my School Basics Digital Scrapbook Kit. The first installment has a faded strip paper in all eight colors and bows, ribbon and curled ribbon in all 8 colors (not all colors are shown). Enjoy!

Zoo Animals: Tortoise Digital Scrapbook Mini-Kit Freebie

Yes, it's a really big turtle. They call it a tortoise ;-) I made the one paper out of his skin, like the elephant. Don't worry! It didn't hurt them, lol. I want to point out that you could make a book out of the different pictures and papers for your child.

Ever feel like everyone is staring at you? LOL Eyeballs Page Kit

Sometime I sit at my desk and get out my PSP X3 and play with anything that pops up on the screen. Well, I had a couple of cool eyeballs sitting around in my graphics and decided that they would look extra special in a digital page kit... to offer for free on the blog. It also reminded me of my oldest daughter who used to trick her BBall teammates into coming to see her 'work' in her anatomy class - the work being a dissected eyeball. She can't stop laughing when she tells the story and I can't stop smiling thinking about her telling - yes, I'm missing my young adult!

Summer Family Fun Kit Digital Scrapbook Freebie, Part 3

This part of the summer kit I made has my favorite piece in it... flip flops. Nothing says summer like cheap footwear can, lol. There is also a 3D beach ball, flower with glass brad, a light green - like seafoam - glass brad, ribbon knots and 3 GREAT papers. One of the free digital papers in this kit looks like a mermaid's tail texture. Or simple fish scales... whatever! They pages are versatile for your family fun events. Finished with Christmas in July

This is the last Christmas in July post for the free digital scrapbook kit. They are all tagged so if you want to make sure you got all of the parts, click the label link. Christmas Tree Lights Paper, so festive in this heat!

I think the first person to come up with Christmas in July stuff must have been in the middle of a heat wave and needed to think about winter to keep cool? Doesn't that sound about right? It's working for me ;-)

Here we have 3 digital scrapbook papers, one lights pattern and two card stock colors yellow and blue. The reds and green match the rest of the kit, but I wanted to introduce a couple of other colors. Then we have a string of lights embellishment, cute! I'll tell ya this kit is shaping up nice.

Christmas in July 2012: Page Kit Pieces, Poinsettias

I decided to do a Christmas in July page kit which is turning out to be a mega-kit that I will be placing the downloads on the blog for the next week or so. You can get a jump-start, lol!, or get you pictures from last year finished up. Scrapping is all about spending time remember wonderful moments and organizing them so you can remember these special times again and again.
